General comments: Great holiday, PB’s achieved. Accommodation good, just need a dishwasher! Extract from comments book: Great lake & fish, started with the Koi! Accommodation very good, fantastic location next to lake. Weather declined after the week-end sunny start but did not deter us. Fantastic to get some 30+s! PB’s all round. Got some great pics!

General comments: Found water quality poor, not as clear as last year. Carp hard to spot. Fishing was very quiet on Wednesday & Thursday. Where were the 30’s! Facilities excellent again. Pleased to see more local information available, see 03/06/06. Had a great time again thanks. Owners comment: Water tests are carried out on a regular basis & water quality is fine, however, water will always be cloudy in a silt-bottomed lake with fish moving around & will vary depending on weather & time of year.

General comments: Had a great holiday again. But had a scare at the port when asked if we were carying any meat products, due to the foot & mouth. Feel that we should have been advised that this may be a problem.

General comments: Great weather & fishing all week. All fish taken from far & near bank tree areas. Best peg being 1st peg to far bank trees with 13 of our 20lb+ fish coming off this peg. Brought bait-boat with us this year, it made all the difference as last year we struggled without one (see June 2006) Some photos on board, rest will send to Angling Lines.

General comments: Had a great week fishing, the weather was good. We all broke all PBs. Bait boats make all the difference. We will return again, bigger fish easier to catch now the small ones have been netted.

General comments: The house is lovely & very well equipped. The grounds are beautiful. The weather was very kind to us, very hot with a refreshing breeze. All enjoyed quality time together as a Family in lovely surroundings. We had a great time. Would recommend.

First time in 10 years & 10 venues no bed linen, remainder of facilities excellent. ********* Owners comment: The information provided on our web page does clearly state that guests are invited to bring their own bed linen & towels although duvets & pillows are provided ****************

General comments: Very poor weather hence bad Carp figures. Average temp range 12° to 15°. Some rain, much wind, hardly a moment without several layers on! Still all party did catch big fish.

Biggest fish was 28lb. Total weight 340lb. Best fish was a silver/white 13lb Koi, which was one of 4 Koi caught.

General comments: We had a fantastic week at Watersmeet. The house was brilliant, it had everything that we needed. We found that we settled in straight away. The BBQ area is great, in fact the set-up is great, couldn’t of wanted more. The weather was mixed, most days were bright but some were dull, but couldn’t complain. We found that the lake fished better during the day, only 2 nights were fished. Overall a fantastic holiday, we would not hesitate to come here again.

General comments: Fished mainly days. Was hard to get past the smaller fish, perhaps another netting should take place? We had very bad weather pretty much all week which made for difficult fishing but we still had some good fish which were in superb condition. Small lake provided good fun with plenty of small carp, roach, dace & a greedy perch.
