Details: If you're looking for wild & natural... this could be for you!
We have just returned from a trip to France & a meeting with Msr. Bachelier, owner of Remy & Maurepaire. He's shown us a new lake he plans to open in the spring, around 10km from Remy.
If you like Remy you'll like this one - it's set in the middle of a forest & completely untouched.
It's around 6 acres, set in a forest & absolutely stunning... but 16km from the shower facilities if you wish to use them!!
There will be 3 swims on the lake, each are double. A really exciting lake, there are lily pads & overhanging trees/snags - it is completely untouched. You would be able to use baitboats or boats, but must supply your own lifejackets.
Stocking will take place in the next couple of months. He plans a really good head of carp to high 40’s..... loads of twenties & thirties. The owner is one of Frances largest fish farmers so stocking is not a problem.
We will be videoing the stocking when it takes place and it won’t be open before April.
It’s kind of frontier fishing but the fish will not have seen a line before…

Details: Just returned from Remy
Hi, I have just returned from Remy after fishing from 1st to 8th October. I managed 17 fish including 2 forties and 3 thirties. My friend (David Martin) had 20 fish including 6 thirties. I've attached photos of the biggest ones for your website if you want them.
