General comments: its a lovely venue and andy is a top man he could'nt do enough for us,andy was really helpful, he would take are bait out for us in his boat among other stuff thanks andy your a star, and the food was fantastic its a must!! its one of the best well run venue iv been to, thanks again andy.

Brief details of your catches: Only 18 fish from 20 to 34lbs between 6 anglers. Dozens of smaller carp up to about 8ozs when fishing for bits on maggot.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Most fish caught on crab boilies fished up to the islands. Water fowl, Coots and Swans, were a real nuisance as they scooped up all boilies, sweet corn, pellet etc offered as ground bait. They caused consistent line bites which were a continual problem. In addition there was a huge quantity of loose weed which caught up on weights, back leads and hooks on all retrieves.

General comments: This seems to have been a caravan site at some time in the past. The toilet and shower block is in need of some TLC and a good clean. Most of the pegs have steep slopes and are dangerous when wet. There seems to be an enourmous number of small carp. A fish a cast is easy on maggot and all look in good condition. This could be an excellent venue with a little care and attention and some culling of the coot population.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Most tactics used. Used Quest Baits, supplied at venue.

Were you happy with them? Not really, not all the showers wer e working. Is a bit outdated, needs tidying up.

General comments: We enjoyed our week at Molyneux fishing. We had good weather which made it. Easy access to a lovely town nearby. We would not return to this venue. Lake contained weed and not as many swims as advertised.

General comments: The toilet/shower block could do with a bit of work. I was in the cabin swim with the cabin, well worth the money. We would all like to you to send a special thanks to Andrew at Molyneux for making our stay a special one. He could not have done more for us. He spent a lot of his time talking, helping us get our baits in the right spots, sometimes even rowing them out for us. He also showed us where the markets were and the nearest town was. The food package was well worth the money and very good. Our thanks to the chef.

General comments: Andrew was friendly and helpful, if a little laid back. Great looking lake. Facilities need a bit of attention and swims need sorting out. Ideal first time French venue as fish are not big enough yet for veterans.

General comments: The weather was awful - rain, snow, sleet, srtong winds, frosts, for 5 days - made the fishing very hard indeed. It was the worst weather we have had in 10 years of going to France at this time of the year. The biggest carp of the week, between the 6 of us was 34lb 130z. Only 4 30's came out all week. The banks/swims are steep, but are stepped in places onto the wooden pontoons, which become very slippery when wet or frosty. Leveling all swims out would be nice to see at this venue. The host Andrew is a top bloke and very helpful, rowing out to help with snagged fish, going to the supermarket, providing fresh water etc is no problem at all.
