Brief details of your catches: 32 fish.... the best falling to 'rubber corn' . Tony.... a 39 common (p/b) + 2 x 34's mirror & grassie. Jon 'chik pea' Strong..... a 34 mirror, 'Lazy baz' ..... a 32 common(p/b). Myself...... a 31 common(p/b). 'First time carping' Ben (who is only 12 and fishing with 2 rods!) caught a personal best 38 common!

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Maize,tiger nut and rubber corn,fished over hemp and pellet. Simple rigs worked best

General comments: excellant, confidance boosting,and extremely well organised by all at angling lines,thank you for a great week from all of us,looking forward to next year!

General comments: Had a fantastic time, venue is great. Didn't catch as many fish as last year, but it was so hot the fish just weren't having it. Spoke to Laurent who said his other lake was fishing just the same this week. Had agreat time anyway. Thanks

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Standard rigs, boilies, cast to showing fish. Night time produces the most fish.

General comments: Very good water, loads of runs (at least when we were there) Caravan on site had all we needed. We left a freezer on site so you can now keep any frozen bait at the venue. Could do with a sign at the entrance, we drove past it twice.

Were you happy with them? Ok. Stunk of fags, area outside caravan like an ashtray. No bins for rubbish.

General comments: Caravan not in best of conditions. No door on freezer. Didn't like having to pay 200€ deposit then not seeing anybody all week to get it back.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Single hook bait over bait patch plus fishing far margins.

General comments: Gilly, our head cook & bottle washer & had never fished before, netted the new lake record cat at 72lb. She netted it after fishing for 1 hour! She also netted 6 other 30's to earn the title "Queen of the Lake". The more experienced anglers just sat back & learnt from the novice. By the end of the week she was fishing like a pro. Well done Gilly! Bob also netted a new PB 61lb cat & landed the lake's 58lb 5oz sturgeon. Mo netted a new PB 37lb 2oz common & managed to hook a small zander. Reg got a new PB common, a new lake record of 48lb 2oz, confirming he truly is "The master angler". Will be back for more in September. Thanks to Lauren for letting us fish such a brilliant lake, a lake of dreams.

General comments: First of all we would like to thank Bridget and the team at Angling lines for their quick response when we were let down by another company. We had a great week all four of us broke our PB`s. The largest common was 48.02 caught by Dave, catfish to 66 pound caught by John ( harry) which we think may be the lake record. Grass carp to 37 pound. Many thanks to the cleaner who did a great job on cleaning the caravan. This is a great venue where the runs did not stop, i would not recomend more than four anglers at one time. our only other comment is the noise from the wildlife at ..i.e. the Frogs. 114 fish as got to be a record. What did you find were the best tactics/baits: keeping mobile helped, most fish came at night time, ive never felt so tired on a holiday before. best tactics for us was plenty of black coffee, watching the water for the fish and a good old fashioned bait boat loaded with pellet and boilies.

Were the facilities what you expected? The caravan was a bit musty and old fashioned but its only a fishing holiday, we didnt expect ritz standard accomodation

Were you happy with them? unmoved by them, although the toilet pan wasn't straight and faced into the wall

General comments: A really good lake, we wasted the first couple of days trying to fit all five of us into a line on the side bank, its best to spread out a bit and force the fish into the middle, all the bigger stamp came from the middle while the smaller fish hugged the treeline margin. I think with around just three people you can murder this lake, too many rods had a very negative effect for us early on.

General comments: The weather got a bit colder on Wednesday and the fish stopped feeding at all. Last fish caught Wednesday afternoon.

General comments: Great lake, easy to find, Laurent is very helpful. We had 4 anglers and a cook and the fishing was superb until the sun came out, they didnt want to know, rain or cloudy and they eat anything, all in all a great place for a fishing holiday great time had by Shane,John,Jason,Paul and the cook Wayne

General comments: Fishing was excellent for the time of year! The fish are immaculate and absolutely stunning! The caravan was clean, warm and piping hot water. The lake is a little square and bland, it needs some trees and landscaping. Owner was really friendly.
